Editorial Notice on the Integrity of Scientific Publications and Mandatory AI Disclosure

16-03-2026

Dear Authors and Colleagues,

In alignment with global academic standards, the JCEIT Editorial Office is reinforcing its policy regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in scientific writing. This measure is taken to ensure the long-term integrity of our published works and to protect the indexed status of our authors' research.

Risks and Consequences

The discovery of inappropriate or undeclared AI involvement in published manuscripts carries severe repercussions:

  • Academic Impact: Improper use of AI is increasingly viewed as a form of data falsification, which can nullify the scientific quality of a publication.

  • Article Withdrawal: In accordance with publisher agreements, manuscripts that exceed acceptable AI usage norms are subject to formal withdrawal.

  • Indexing Status: Failure to comply with AI guidelines can lead to the removal of journals from major databases, resulting in the loss of indexed publications for authors.

Mandatory AI Declaration

To maintain transparency, every submission is now required to include a formal declaration. As a reminder, JCEIT only permits the use of generative AI for the purpose of refining grammar and improving sentence flow.

Authors must include the following statement in their manuscript:

Statement on the Use of Generative AI > During the preparation of this work, the author(s) used [Insert Name of AI Model] for the purpose of [e.g., refining grammar and improving sentence flow]. After using this tool, the author(s) reviewed and edited the content as needed and take(s) full responsibility for the final content of the publication.

Our Commitment

Our goal is to showcase your original scientific expertise and personal research developments to the global community. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these standards to ensure the highest quality of scientific output.
